Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At GameRid, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for requesting refunds for products and services purchased through our website.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Digital Games. Digital game purchases are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that the game has not been played for more than 2 hours. Once a game has been played for more than 2 hours, it is no longer eligible for a refund.

2.2 Pre-orders. Pre-orders can be refunded at any time before the game's release date. After the release date, the standard 14-day/2-hour refund policy applies.

2.3 DLC and Add-ons. Downloadable Content (DLC) and add-ons are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that the parent game has not been played for more than 2 hours since the DLC or add-on was purchased.

2.4 In-game Purchases. In-game purchases are generally non-refundable, except in cases where the purchase was made accidentally or there is a technical issue with the item.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your GameRid account
  2. Navigate to "My Purchases" in your account dashboard
  3. Locate the purchase you wish to refund
  4. Click on the "Request Refund" button
  5. Select a reason for the refund from the dropdown menu
  6. Provide any additional details that may help us process your request
  7. Submit your request

Our customer support team will review your refund request and respond within 3-5 business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are generally non-refundable:

  • Games played for more than 2 hours
  • In-game purchases (except as noted above)
  • Subscription services after the first 14 days
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable content that has been consumed or used

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Technical Issues. If you are experiencing technical issues with a game that prevent you from playing it, please contact our customer support team before requesting a refund. We may be able to resolve the issue for you. If we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a refund regardless of playtime.

5.2 Account Termination. If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Service, you will not be eligible for a refund of any unused purchases.

6. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of our services after the posting of revised policies constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
